Neeb Haven’s New Build: Designed for Modern Poultry Production
County Line Equipment is proud to celebrate the completion of an exciting new build for Neeb Haven in New Hamburg, Ontario.
This project brings together modern barn construction, advanced poultry equipment and climate-management technology to create a facility designed to support efficient poultry production. The new build features the VALLI Volo Baby Area aviary system, along with a complete range of SKOV ventilation, climate and management solutions.
A Modern Facility Built for the Future
The new Neeb Haven barn measures 330 feet by 65 feet and features a flat ceiling, double-wall construction and PVC interior liner throughout the barn and office areas.
The project also includes a dedicated entrance, utility and storage area, along with end-wall canopies designed to complement the functionality of the facility.
Every new poultry facility has unique requirements, and thoughtful building design is an important part of creating an operation that can support both the equipment inside and the day-to-day needs of the producer.
VALLI Volo Baby Area Aviary System
At the centre of this project is the VALLI Volo Baby Area aviary system.
The aviary system is part of a modern approach to poultry housing and was selected as a key component of the Neeb Haven new build. Combined with the barn’s ventilation, climate management and monitoring systems, the equipment package provides an integrated approach to managing the poultry environment.
Advanced Ventilation and Climate Management
Creating the right environment inside a poultry barn requires careful management of airflow and climate conditions.
The Neeb Haven project includes a SKOV Combi Tunnel Design, supported by SKOV DA820, BF50 and BF55 variable-speed fans with a light trap wall. The facility also features SKOV modular ceiling inlets and a tunnel door system, along with an integrated evaporative cooling system.
Together, these systems are designed to support effective air movement and environmental management throughout the barn.
Smart Management Systems
Modern poultry production also depends on having the information and controls needed to manage an operation effectively.
The new Neeb Haven facility includes the SKOV BlueControl climate and management system, featuring 24-volt emergency opening control. A bird scale system and feed inventory and consumption management are also part of the equipment package.
These integrated systems help bring important aspects of barn management together, supporting a modern and well-equipped poultry operation.
A Collaborative New Build
Projects like Neeb Haven’s new facility are the result of collaboration between the producer, equipment suppliers, contractors and other agricultural professionals.
