In Memory of Katherine

There are times when words feel far too small, and this is one of them.
Nothing can truly capture who Katherine was or the light she brought into the lives of everyone who knew and loved her.
What remains are the memories — the moments of laughter, the warmth of her smile, the strength she carried, and the love we were so fortunate to share. Those memories are treasures. They are reminders of a life that, while far too short, left a lasting impact on so many hearts.
Childhood cancer takes far too much, far too soon. It takes precious time, changes futures, and leaves families with a loss that can never truly be filled.
And yet, through Katherine’s memory, we are reminded why awareness matters. Why action matters. And why we must continue to stand with the children and families who are facing childhood cancer today.
This September, during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, we stand with families across Canada to honour children like Katherine — children who have fought, children who are fighting, and children who should never have had to fight in the first place.
We remember Katherine.
We honour her.
And we carry her light with us.
In a short while, we’ll meet you again. 💛
