How the ESA-3000 Heat Recovery Ventilator Works

The ESA-3000 uses a pivoting fan arrangement to provide two different ventilation modes within one unit.

1. Heat Recovery Mode — Up to 3,000 CFM

During colder weather, the ESA-3000 draws fresh outdoor air into the building while exhausting warm indoor air.

The incoming and outgoing air pass through separate pathways within the heat exchanger.

Thermal energy from the outgoing air is transferred to the incoming fresh air, helping preheat it before it enters the barn.
