The BlueFan Series combines high airflow, pressure stability and energy-efficient operation with durable construction designed for the challenging conditions found in livestock facilities. The range includes multiple fan configurations to help meet different ventilation requirements.

Designed for Efficient Livestock Ventilation

The BlueFan Series is designed to provide effective air extraction while minimizing energy consumption. The fans feature a pressure-stable design, helping maintain performance even in windy conditions.

The system can combine stepless and traditional ON/OFF fan variants to provide continuous airflow that responds to changing ventilation requirements. This helps maintain appropriate air velocity without relying solely on cycling fans on and off.

BlueFan Models

BF 50 — 50-Inch Box Fan

The SKOV BF 50 BlueFan is a 50-inch box fan designed as a direct replacement for traditional box fans. It fits standard 50-inch fan openings, making replacement straightforward, and existing electrical installations and controllers can typically be reused.

The BF 50 is constructed from thermoplastic and stainless steel, providing non-corrosive materials suited to demanding livestock environments. Its direct-drive design eliminates the need for belt adjustments and regular belt maintenance.

The BF 50 has a capacity of up to 54,000 m³/hour, depending on the selected configuration.

BF 55 — High-Performance Wall Fan

The SKOV BF 55 BlueFan is a wall-mounted flange fan designed for facilities requiring high air volume and pressure stability. It is suitable for various livestock house configurations and can be used where tunnel ventilation is required.

The BF 55 is available with motor-controlled shutters or an air-controlled B-Air butterfly shutter, providing flexibility when configuring the ventilation system.

Depending on configuration, the BF 55 can provide airflow of up to 73,400 m³/hour.

BF 55 B-Air — Air-Controlled Shutter Option

The BF 55 B-Air combines the high-performance BF 55 fan with an air-controlled butterfly shutter. The air-controlled design allows the shutter to operate without wiring to a separate shutter motor, providing an alternative configuration for livestock ventilation systems.

The B-Air configuration is included within the BF 55 performance specifications in the SKOV specification sheet.

BF 62 — High-Capacity Ventilation

The SKOV BF 62 is a wall-mounted flange fan designed to deliver high air capacity while maintaining low energy consumption. Its pressure-stable design helps maintain efficient operation even under strong wind conditions.

The BF 62 uses a cone design that allows fans to be installed closer together, helping optimize the available installation space. Its frame is designed to reduce structural demands on the building, while the direct-drive system eliminates belt adjustments and regular belt maintenance.

The BF 62 has a capacity of up to 71,900 m³/hour.
