Celebrating Canada’s Agriculture Day

Agriculture is part of the foundation of communities across Canada. From the farmers who care for the land and livestock to the many people working throughout the food system, agriculture plays an important role in bringing food to our tables and supporting communities across the country.
Canada’s Agriculture Day is an opportunity to recognize the people, passion and pride behind Canadian agriculture.

In 2026, Canada’s Agriculture Day marked its 10th official anniversary, celebrating a decade of formally recognizing the people and contributions behind Canada’s agriculture and food sector.
Celebrating the People Behind Canadian Agriculture
When we think about agriculture, we often think about the farm. But the journey from farm to table involves a much larger network of people.
Canadian agriculture is supported by farmers, livestock producers, equipment specialists, veterinarians, nutritionists, processors, transportation professionals, researchers and many others working throughout the food system.

Canada’s Agriculture Day is a chance to recognize that collective effort and celebrate the dedication, innovation and resilience of the people who help keep our food system moving.
Agriculture Is Built on Innovation
Agriculture continues to evolve, with farmers and producers adopting new technology, equipment and systems to support their operations.
At County Line Equipment, we are proud to work alongside livestock producers across Ontario, providing equipment and solutions for poultry and swine operations. From new builds and renovations to ventilation, feeding and climate management systems, innovation continues to play an important role in the future of modern agriculture.
Canada’s Agriculture Day is a reminder that the industry is built not only on generations of experience, but also on the willingness to look ahead, adapt and continue improving.
How You Can Celebrate
