For more than 25 years, County Line Equipment has proudly supported Ontario farming operations with a strong focus on the livestock industry. Our roots run deep in the farming community, beginning with the family farm of Neil and Theresa Scholten.
As County Line Equipment has grown over the years, so has our commitment to providing farmers with innovative solutions, dependable products and the expertise they need to support productive, successful operations.
Today, we are proud to recognize an important milestone in County Line Equipment’s history.
Honouring Neil’s Leadership and Looking Ahead
Neil’s connection to County Line Equipment and the agricultural community spans decades. Growing up on a local hog farm, he developed firsthand knowledge of the industry and the people who work in it every day.
Jon joined County Line in 2001 as an installation technician and became a business partner in 2006. Earlier this year, Neil decided it was time to pass the torch, and Jon and his wife, Karen, purchased his shares in the business.
While this marks a new chapter for County Line Equipment, Neil’s impact on the company and the farming community will continue to be felt for years to come.
Neil’s vision, leadership and commitment to bringing new ideas and products to farmers have helped shape County Line into the company it is today. Although he is beginning a new adventure, we know there will likely still be opportunities to see him at farm shows and open houses throughout the community.
Jon and the entire County Line Equipment team extend their sincere thanks to Neil for his leadership and dedication over the years and wish him all the best in this exciting next chapter.
